Success Stories

Getting great feedback is a privilege.   I'm always touched that my clients share with me their progress and it's fantastic to hear how they are feeling the benefits of pilates!  My clients come from a range of backgrounds and abilities and I'm so proud to learn they all love coming to class.  

This was my first experience of Pilates. I am not usually keen to be part of a group.

 

This group was small and friendly and I felt comfortable to work to my own ability level whilst feeling that I had improved by the end of the group of sessions.

I would highly recommend Annette’s classes.  

 

She is able to cater for all abilities and ages with thoughtful and knowledgeable help to enable those who have either rusty Pilates skills or complete beginners.

The Pilates class with Annette always goes so quickly.

 

The exercises we do are very varied and evenly spaced out.

 

She explains and shows us the different movements beforehand and makes sure I do them right.

I like doing the different exercises and I also learning how to control my breathing.

Annette is very good at explaining her instructions and very watchful of everyone giving advice when it is necessary.

Embrace group classes for a feel-good factor!

Annette is a wonderful Pilates teacher.   Her careful visual explanation of the moves helps focus and ensures moves are carried out correctly.

 

In each class she teaches something new to challenge different areas of the body.

 

Her little nuggets of scientific information are most motivating.

I have been doing Pilates for about 20 years and had several different teachers but Annette’s style, gentle rigour, humour and thoughtfulness means that you come away physically better, but also cheery - a great combination!

Annette is a fun, enthusiastic and technical tutor, who both understands her clients and works with them to maximise their potential. She ensures each move is adaptable to all abilities, using various pilates props to challenge the body. My core and balance is definitely stronger

Joining a new class is always difficult. Annette is super friendly, relaxed & makes her classes inclusive , friendly & informative. She always offers  options to challenge those that are able but suitable adaptations for those that feel less able. She is  a very experienced & knowledgeable Pilates instructor.

After 3 years of joint replacement ops and then a stroke, I needed an exercise regime. A mixture of chair based and gentle pilates with Annette have proved to be the ideal remedy. She makes the classes fun and I feel so much more mobile and more energetic ( and taller! ) Thank you Annette

I've made more progress with my balance and movement difficulties in the 4 weeks that Annette has been teaching me in her Seated Pilates class than I have in the last 18 months. This suits me better than phsyiotherapy. You cannot find someone more understanding, experienced, helpful and encouraging than lovely Annette.

I had never tried pilates before and I was very nervous, particularly because I suffer with COPD. However Annette listens to me very carefully, to my concerns and she allayed my fears and quickly integrated me into her class. I am undoubtedly much better having attended Annette's classes.

Before I started Pilates, I couldn't sit back on my heels, Pilates sorted that out for me. And I no longer get the back issues that plagued me for years.  The difference I have noticed in a short time has been astounding.

It's incredible.  My golf  has really improved since I started my 1:1 lessons.  I came to you as my back was bad and i'm now beating my mates on the golf course.  What else can you fix?
